The Surface Transportation Board has proposed a new rule that would require freight railroads to share their tracks. However, the Association of American Railroads claims the rule would make the rail system less efficient.

Jared Kutschara is the BAT Logistics’ Top Dog for June! He was selected by his peers and management for his consistent hard work throughout the month.
Team members noted he jumps in and helps with all work in the office, and is constantly on the phone helping make sure jobs get completed.
“It is very nice to be appreciated and to feel like I am doing a good job,” Kutschara said.
His award included a $50 gift card. He has been working at BAT since May 2016.
Diesel prices haven’t changed much in the past few weeks. The average price this week is $2.423 per gallon, down just a third of a cent from last week’s and the previous week’s prices, according to the Energy Information Administration.
Prices are still almost 41 cents lower than prices were a year ago this week. Prices reached the highest point of year June 13 at $2.431 per gallon.
