Customer Support Specialist

Join our Customer Service Team as a Customer Support Specialist!

**FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME AVAILABLE**
Customer Support Specialists are responsible for aiding in the management of critical customer accounts. Management of these accounts includes, but is not limited to, scheduling and planning of orders, tracking, and the management of additional requirements as outlined by each account.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Planning all aspects of freight movements including but not limited to scheduling, organizing, tracking, managing issues, and other varied tasks
  • Maintaining and building carrier, vendor, and customer relationships while providing exceptional service
  • Coordinating shipments primarily by truck or railcar
  • Monitoring transportation moves throughout the life cycle of the load
  • Meeting or exceeding expectations for all customers and vendors
  • Tasks vary by day and the ability to multi-task is a must

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to work after hours as needed
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other

Education and Experience:

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • One-year related experience preferred but not required
