Join our National Account Team as a Logistics Specialist!
National Account Specialists are responsible for aiding in the management of critical customer accounts. Management of these accounts includes, but is not limited to, scheduling and planning of orders, tracking, and the management of additional requirements as outlined by each account.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains shipper and receiver relationships, and plans all aspects of freight movements
- Provides exceptional service, communication, and meets or exceeds expectations for all customers
- Monitors transportation moves throughout the life cycle of the load
- Coordinates, routes, and tracks shipments via truck and railcar
- Handles freight pickup, transit, and drop off to ensure on-time delivery
- Proactively addresses problems and troubleshoots as needed
- Provides reports internally and externally to customer needs
- Tasks vary by day, ability to multi-task a must

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and McLeod Software
- Ability to work after hours as needed
Education and Experience:
- College degree preferred but not required
- At least two years related experience preferred
