Outside Sales Representative

Join our Sales Team as an Outside Sales Representative!

The Outside Sales Executive is responsible for identifying new opportunities, following up on potential leads, and securing new business growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop sales strategies and maintain high productivity levels
  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads
  • Achieve set goals through prospecting new business
  • Follow up on all leads and self-generating prospects
  • Consistently provide excellent customer service
  • Conduct presentation meetings as needed
  • Develop, maintain, and grow customer and carrier relationships
  • Prepare price quotes and negotiate customer rates for tendered freight
  • Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems
  • Provides periodic sales forecasts
  • Resolve any customer issues that may arise
  • Understand and meet company targets
  • Some travel may be necessary
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least two years related sales experience required
