Remarking on BAT Logistics growth, one of the owners, Jarrod Marinello said, “We are extremely grateful for the first half of 2010, followed by third consecutive year-over-year growth due largely to employee retention, added capacity and our ability to react quickly to market conditions.”

While truck load capacity tightened in the industry, BAT managed to increase its carrier base above 25 percent in the past four months.

OMAHA, Neb. – BAT Logistics, provider of 3rd Party Logistics and Transportation solutions, is giving back to the community through the Salvation Army. We have increased our giving every year and one of the ways we give back is to adopt families that would otherwise not have a Christmas with presents.

This year, BAT has adopted 11 families ranging from two to seven family members. We provide gifts from a wish list for the children and we also provide a gift card to a local grocery store to buy their Christmas dinner for the whole family.

It is just a small token to share the blessings we at BAT have received throughout the year. This is BAT’s third year adopting families during the Christmas holiday, and double the amount of families it has adopted from last year.

About Adopt-A-Family
This year, more than 2,300 families qualified for assistance from the Adopt-A-Family program. Since the program began 11 years ago, more than 16,000 families have been adopted by local donors.

Families range in size from one to five children and, if adopted, will receive Christmas dinner and toys for the children to open Christmas morning.

Those interested in adopting a family may call The Salvation Army Adopt-A-Family at 402-474-6263.
