BAT Logistics is proud to announce the promotion of Chet Palmer to National Accounts Team Leader.
Chet has worked very hard throughout his time here at BAT both professionally and personally. He has proven that is he driven, committed, and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure his customers, his team, and the entire organization is successful. Chet has shown he has what it takes to run with this leadership role and is ready to help the team grow as he does.
We are very happy for the growth and development Chet has shown through the years, and we are excited to see what more will come from this new adventure in leadership here at BAT.
On this day, we remember those who courageously gave their lives. Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough.
Today we are spotlighting H&V Transport out of Rocky Hill, CT! In business since 2014, they have been in our BAT network for the past four years. Running lanes nationwide, they currently have five drivers outbound from Connecticut every Monday. Thank you H&V Transport for all you have been doing to get essential products shipped nationwide!
Melissa has been an amazing addition to our team and we really enjoy having her here! Equipped with some amazing nerf dodging skills and some epic mom jeans, Melissa has found her happy place among our BAT family. She is always willing to jump in and help out, even if it’s a task that she isn’t familiar with. She is constantly learning and growing to continue to make herself more valuable to the company.
Eric has been such a awesome addition to our BAT team since joining in December. He fits right in with our “work hard, play hard” mantra and never misses an opportunity to join in on the fun. An avid Cubs fan and Corgi lover (I mean, look at that cute pup!), Eric is a recent transplant from Des Moines and moved here with his fiance just a few months ago. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things Eric accomplishes during his first year here at BAT!
This week we are celebrating a big anniversary here at BAT! Ashley Jankowski, our Vice President, has been with us for ten years! We are so excited about this milestone and can’t wait to see where she takes us over the next ten years. Congratulations Ashley!
This week we are pleased to introduce you to Mike! He has been with BAT since July of 2014 and is an Account Manager on our Customer Service Team.
Mike says his favorite thing about BAT is the people he works with and I have to agree; he is spot on! He joined BAT at a time when retro wasn’t cool and mullets weren’t a thing anymore, yet he rocked both and proved that everything comes back in style if you just wait long enough 😉 With the love to make people laugh, commitment to his work, and drive to do better every day, he quickly made a name for himself at BAT and continues to do so. We love seeing what facial hair, hair cut (or lack there of), and fire Mike is going to bring in to the office every day, and we can’t wait to see what he builds (in style and in business) for many years to come!
This week we are pleased to introduce you to Chris! He has been with BAT since May of 2018 and is an Account Manager on our Customer Service Team.
Chris has this to say about BAT: “My favorite part of BAT is the family environment; it is very akin to my time in the Army. I also love that the manner in which we operate allows for you to do “the same thing†every day without it being monotonous. Everyone has their role but also has a long enough leash to learn and mingle into other roles, making a more seamless work experience for everyone. It still blows my mind how much I learn and grow every single day.” Chris is always down to enjoy some BAT fun and willing to do whatever it takes to keep it going! Anytime there is a problem, he’s right there, ready to find an innovative solution and help the rest of us grow in our tech knowledge while he’s doing it. We really enjoy his true teamwork spirit and commitment to the success of BAT and our entire team of customers and carriers.
Even during COVID-19 we are celebrating bat appreciation day . . . with proper social distancing!
You can find out more about flying bats and the importance of them in today’s world by visiting the Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium or Nebraska Wildlife Rehab, Inc. pages for more info on these flying mammals!
In the meantime, these BATS will get back to work helping to move the world.
We are excited to share about Tony! He joined BAT in May of 2018 and is an Account Manager on our Operations Team. When Tony showed up for his initial interview in a 5 piece suit and Italian hair straight out of 1991, we knew instantly his personality would be a great addition to our team . . . and he has definitely not let us down yet! We enjoy his quirks, his humor, and his continued focus on success. Tony’s favorite part of BAT is that no matter how hard we are working, everyone is still having a good time. We definitely have a work hard / play hard mentality here at BAT! Thanks for being such a committed member of our team Tony!
